When Asked About Engagement Ring, Michelle Williams Shows Off Other Finger

Michelle Williams may want you to be blinded by the enormous diamond she's wearing on her ring finger, but she certainly doesn’t want to you to ask about it. After politely responding to a reporter's designer-related questions at Sunday's 3:1 Phillip Lim show during New York;s Fashion Week, the actress froze up when complimented on her rock.

"I don't want to talk about it," Williams grumbled, reports the New York Daily News. When the reporter pressed on, addressing rumours that she and her Brokeback Mountain co-star, Heath Ledger, are secretly married, William responded with a "cold, cold stare."

OK, then. Someone's name is totally getting dropped to the bottom of our fantasy bridal registry.
