Like many a troubled youth before her, Rihanna may be turning to the characters of Degrassi for some acne-and-all life lessons in her time of struggle. But in these post-Chris Brown times, Rihanna's done one better than re-watching those vintage "Kathleen" episodes.

Celeb spotters in New York claim that the pop star has been spotted with Degrassi: The Next Generation actor Aubrey James -- known to devoted watchers as Jimmy Brooks, and to casual watchers as the one in the wheelchair who raps. (He's also known to anyone with a radio as "The Best I Ever Had" rapper Drake, but we'll do anything to extend a flimsy reference to a Canadian TV show. Go, Can Con!)

Rihanna and Graham were reportedly spotted by the New York Post's spies at NYC's Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge. "She was drinking whiskey and apple juice and making out with him all night," said the Post's source. "They were really cute together."

That's pretty much where the insider info ends, but given past experience, we like to think we know how things turned out:

Later that night, Jimmy ran into old high-school girlfriend and struggling recording artist/recovered goth, Ellie. Mad-jealous that her ex was making big connections in the music industry, Ellie posted video of him and RiRi making out on their class blog. Everyone was totally upset, including Snake, who's probably the principal by now or something, but then Jay and Silent Bob appeared in town to shoot a movie about Toronto high-school kids and everyone forgot what the fuss was all about until the born-again chick who's on 90210 now turned up to announce that Chris Brown was going to jail. And then they all had a pizza party and Jimmy rapped about it, and we all learned something really important about emotions. The end.
