Were you thinking, "Gee, I wish Hilary Swank would hurry up and make another movie?" Yeah, neither were we, but it's happening anyway. The trailer for her latest flick has dropped, and you can practically smell the Oscar bid.

In Amelia, which hits theatres Oct. 23, Swank plays the legendary pilot Amelia Earhart, who attempted to be the first person to fly around the world. (If you don't know how the movie ends, you really should spend less time surfing the Web and more time cracking the history books.) It costars Richard Gere as her publicist-turned-husband, while Ewan McGregor adds some sizzle as her lover, Gene Vidal.
