Sexy singer Jessica Simpson may be trying to steal Dolly Parton’s blond, cleavage-blessed country star crown; but country fans don’t seem to be fans of Simpson’s free flowing boobage.

Wearing a short and sparkly number with a plunging neckline that had cameramen ready for a wardrobe malfunction, Simpson made her Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday night.

The singer performed “Come on Over,” the single from her new country album Do You Know, before a sold out crowd including her parents and extended family, but her getup had some audience members feeling uncomfortable.

“I think she should have put some clothes on,” one viewer told People. While another commented that while she enjoyed Simpson’s performance, she really loved newcomer Crystal Shawanda, because “she was dressed appropriately.”

Despite her costume choice, Simpson, 28 seemed to be having a great time. “I can’t believe I am here,” she said, reports People.

Frankly Jess, neither can we.  We were sure you’d be on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew by now.
