Heidi and Spencer Tell Their Side of 'The Hills' Feud

For anyone following the growing feud between the stars of MTV's The Hills (and let's be honest – who isn't?), the claws have finally come out. Responding to allegations that they leaked a sex tape featuring the show's resident good girl, Lauren Conrad, dysfunctional couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are now telling their side of the scandalous story.

When asked about Conrad's complaint that her supposed best friend neglected to comfort her when news of the sex tape first surfaced, Montag tells Us Weekly, "It's astonishing that she would say that. I guess she forgot that I was in the hospital that week. Maybe that would explain why she didn't call to see how I was doing."

(Montag failed to mention that the reason she was in the hospital was to get a boob job and rhinoplasty, which, of course, takes precedence over realizing grainy video of you and your now-imprisoned ex-boyfriend may be leaked online any second.)

Montag goes on to deny her involvement in the leak, saying, "It's amusing to me that because I didn't call Lauren, I am behind the leak. It's outrageous and inappropriate. I have nothing to do with the tape."

Meanwhile, Montag's slimy boyfriend, who looks like he escaped from a ventriloquist's doll collection, blamed Conrad for riding on his celebrity coattails, despite the fact that he shameless rides on best friend Brody Jenner's.

"Lauren couldn't get into clubs before she met us!" Pratt whines. "We were her ticket to Hollywood. As soon as the double dating stopped, she was out. She has trouble being the third wheel. That’s what she was when Brody didn’t want to keep seeing her."

As for the couple's relationship, which caused the end of Montag's friendship with Conrad, Montag gushes, "We have so much fun. I never knew I could love someone like this.'

Pratt, ever the modest one, adds, "She has the world's greatest boyfriend!" Gag.
