Eat, pray, diss Julia Roberts: That's all Indian villagers reportedly want to do since the toothy actress arrived outside of Delhi, India to shoot a scene in a local temple.
The trouble is, the shoot -- for Roberts' upcoming movie adaptation of Eat, Pray, Love -- is commandeering a temple at the same time as the Hindu festival of Navrati. And it's kind of hard to pray when your temple is being guarded by a movie star's personal entail of 350 security guards (as per the New York Post's count).
"It's the holiest time of the year and we must not be stopped from visiting our own temple," one villager told UK paper The Sun.
According to The New York Post, worshippers haven't been content to just vent their anger to British tabloids. One local tried to break through security -- but failed harder than Mona Lisa Smile.
"There are more than 100 policemen outside the Ashram Hari Mandir and almost equal number inside the premises, both uniformed and in civilian disguise," a police officer told London's Daily Telegraph. "Nobody can breach this cover and no outsider is allowed to enter the ashram, no matter whoseover he or she is."
According to the Post, the temple is typically always open to local followers.
