Lindsay Lohan’s paternal grandfather died Thursday with colon cancer, reports E! News.

It’s a sad loss for the often-troubled Lohan, but what’s worse is that Michael Lohan, her jackass of a father, is (gasp!) turning the whole tragedy into a publicity grab.

Rather than say something profound about his (at the time) dying father or (wow!) maybe have no comment, the always classy Poppa Lohan used an E! interview Tuesday to take pot shots at his equally classy wife, Dina. In the interview, Michael called Dina a “two-face” (editor note: probably the only time where he may not just be speaking figuratively) due to her flip-flopping about Lindsay’s excessive lifestyle.

On Thursday, Michael issued a statement to OK! Magazine that said: "My father just, literally, died in my arms…I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina's attorney. Let's see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral. THIS will show her true colors! Thus, not even a call. But that's par for the course with Dina! She didn't even send a card or visit when he was sick."

You’re a special dude, Michael Lohan.
