Singer Shania Twain and her producer husband, Robert “Mutt” Lange, are calling it quits after 14 years of marriage, her publicist confirms.
Twain’s rep released a statement to People confirming the split, adding: “This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.” No reason was given for why the Canadian country crooner is longer serenading her hubby with "You're Still the One."
The duo combined efforts on Twain's 1995 album, The Woman in Me, and wrote all the songs on her 1997 album, Come on Over, which Media Traffic lists as the 9th best selling album in the world.
Twain and her husband have a 6-year-old son. In early 2002, the family moved to Switzerland to avoid life in the public eye. She'll be forced back into the spotlight this year with her new album and perfume line (not to mention her pending divorce).
