Lindsay Lohan Almost Forced to Fly – Gasp – Coach!

February 2, 2009

There are no small roles, only small, petty actors. At least where Lindsay Lohan is concerned.

The 22-year-old starlet did wonders for her public image while trying to catch a Delta flight from Tampa, Fla. on Sunday – specifically, reportedly throwing a tantrum of Lohan-esque proportions when airline employees were unable to give her first-class seat on the already-overbooked flight. Quelle horreur!

According to Fox News, Lohan sulked, pouted and whined about her second-class treatment, snarking to her travelling companion, "You'd better come and visit me back there in case I die."

But with such a winning personality, why wouldn't the other coach passengers welcome her with open arms?

Fortunately – or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it – Lohan's snit fit yielded results, as the airline did finally move her into the first class. Crisis averted!

The first-class drama was just the cherry on Lohan's dignified weekend, however. On Friday, the actress attended a pre-Super Bowl party where girlfriend Sam Ronson was DJing and, true to form, the happy couple reportedly spent most of the bash arguing and making up. According to Fox News insiders, Lohan spent most of Ronson's set glaring at her girlfriend and continuously checking her messages on her Blackberry. Ronson eventually took the I Know Who Killed Me star to the washroom to talk out their problems – very professional! – and when the couple finally emerged, they'd ostensibly worked everything out. Again.

"They're always breaking up," said one source. "Samantha won't let Lindsay go, she doesn't have a career without her."

Looks like Ronson and Michael Lohan have more in common than they'd like to admit.
