Fall Out Boy fans can dry their guyliner-streaked cheeks and put down the razor they've been using to cut themselves: Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are not engaged.
The long-term pelvic affiliates released a statement through their reps today (Jan. 2), denying reports they're set to wed, according to Us Weekly. The latest engagement rumours began circulating when Simpson was photographed celebrating the new year with Wentz at Miami's Shore Club while wearing a ring on her left hand.
This isn't the first time the lip-synching plastic surgery addict and the posterboy for Goth-lite have had to shoot down engagement rumours. In July, reports the pair was headed for the altar sent emo fans scurrying to their computers to post tearful, obscenely misspelled laments on FOB message boards. But for now, the engagement story remains totes BS. OMG!
