Mike Tyson's four-year-old daughter is on life support after what police call a "tragic accident" in the boxer's Phoenix home, reports the Associated Press.

Exodus Tyson was found by her seven-year-old brother yesterday morning with her neck caught in a cable attached to a treadmill. The young girl's mother phoned for help and tried to revive her; EMTs later performed CPR and rushed her to St. Joseph's Hospital, where she was put on life support.

"Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there's a cord that hangs under the console – it's kind of a loop," Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill told Fox News. "Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it."

Sgt. Hill described the girl's current condition as "extremely critical." Exodus' father was in Las Vegas when the accident took place, but has since returned home to be with his family. An attorney for the boxer had no comment.
