James Franco made a lot of UCLA students angry after cancelling his commencement speech last month, and now he's trying to make it up to them...by making them laugh.

In a new video posted on FunnyorDie.com, Franco pokes fun of the incident, claiming UCLA was actually the one to pull the plug on his speech after watching this footage.

In the footage, Franco is shown practising his delivery. Sporting his trademark stoner squint, he cites his favourite author (R.L. Stein), talks about signing onto Milk because he thought it was about the beverage, and freaks out over the widely published cellphone photo of him sleeping during a lecture ("Who f*cking doesn't fall asleep in class?")
