By now we all know that Joe Jonas is not dating Taylor Swift (or you, for that matter), and has since been holding hands and attending militantly chaperoned box socials with "Lovebug" video co-star Camilla Belle.

But in news sure to leave a few more tear stains on teen pillows than Swift's admission that Jonas dumped her in a quick phone call, the country star told Us Weekly that Belle was the reason for the 27-second end to Swift and Jonas' Disney-sanctioned "Love Story."

"They've been together since we broke up," Swift told Us Weekly at last night's Country Music Awards show. "That's why we broke up -- because he met her."

We can see it now. Their eyebrows -- er, eyes, met from across the room and it was love at first sight. Just be thankful Peter Gallagher wasn't in the room, Swift.

Considering the JoBros' previous admissions of Belle being their not-so-secret celebrity crush, this break-up has probably been coming ever since Joe bought a ticket to 10,000 BC.

Swift revealed she and Jonas aren't on speaking terms any longer (so we guess that means she won't be calling him up to gloat when her new album conquers the charts, as predicted).

But just because she won't talk to him doesn't mean the singer will hold back from talking about him. Swift wrote the song "Always and Forever" about her breakup from Jonas.
