Lindsay Lohan Angers Animal Activists, Scarlett Johansson

November 17, 2008

Talk about flour power. Lindsay Lohan was covered with a light dusting of white powder as she left a Paris nightclub early Saturday morning, but not because she's up to her old, pre-rehab tricks. The starlet, who was wearing a sparkly blue top and a fur stole, was doused with a bag of flour by an animal activist who called her "a fur hag." (You can watch totally awesome video of the incident below.)

Lohan dusted herself off before posing on the red carpet at Paris' VIP Room Theater, where girlfriend Samantha Ronson was spinning, reports the Associated Press.

In a statement following the powder protest, PETA's Robbie LeBlanc told Us Weekly: "There is nothing remotely 'fashionable' about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all."

An angry Ronson took to her MySpace blog to decry the attack, posting: "I'm pissed at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay last night. Not because I got powdered down, but because the girl who threw it acted like an animal herself. I take that back, it's an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilized than that person...p.s.s. i think there are plenty of families that could have used that flour for a meal. nice job, lady."

PETA isn't the only ones with Lohan on their hit list. In a new interview with Allure magazine, Scarlett Johansson opens up about her feud with the young star.

"I really don't know that person. I only met her, like, three times," says the newlywed, when asked why Lohan doesn't like her.

Commenting on the infamous message Lohan allegedly scrawled about her on the bathroom stall of a New York nighclub, Johansson says: "That's what I heard. I don't know what the motivation was behind that. I remember it was something really vulgar — I mean, shockingly so, like, 'Whoa, what, who are you?'"
