It's rest, relaxation and rehab for Demi Moore, as People reports a Monday night hospital visit has led the star to seek treatment for issues including "exhaustion."

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," Moore's rep told the magazine in a statement. "She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

It was one unidentified female friend who called an ambulance to Moore's L.A. home Monday night, E! News reports, in an incident that seems to have precipitated today's rehab announcement. Moore was "shaking" and "acting like she was suffering from a seizure" when her friend called 911, according to the L.A. Fire Department incident report relayed to E! News -- a description backed up by RadarOnline, whose source goes on to say that Moore's fit was so severe "she collapsed." The fire department told People they responded to a call at Moore's residence at 10:49 p.m. Monday, summoned to the address "for an unknown illness." Paramedics assessed her, and after 30 minutes, she was taken to a hospital.

If anything in particular caused all this, Moore isn't saying. Not yet, anyway -- though TMZ claims Moore's 911 emergency was the result of "substance abuse" -- even though it's unclear what "substance" may or may not have given her the jim-jams. And as if exhaustion and rampant speculation weren't enough trouble, RadarOnline is reporting yet another ailment, claiming that Moore "is getting treated for anorexia, as well as other issues that caused her seizure." Again, Moore has yet to confirm or deny these reports -- but as anyone who's watched her become increasingly skeletal since her public split from Ashton Kutcher, it'd be swell if some rehab nurse would make her a sandwich today. Maybe 12.

Moore and Kutcher announced their separation in November, after six years of marriage -- and one much-gossiped-about Hard Rock Hotel tryst between Kutcher and a hot-tub enthusiast named Sara Leal.

Since the split, Moore has had a few rumoured rebounds, and was spotted by People magazine a little more than a week ago, partying with her 23-year-old daughter, Rumer Willis, and flirting with 90201 star Ryan Rottman.

Work-wise, she was recently cast in an upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic in the role of Gloria Steinem. Because of her current treatment, Moore has backed out of the job, her rep told People.
