An insider told the mag that Roberts refused to let Overstreet into a Golden Globes after party, saying, "Chord was waiting outside the CAA party at Sunset Tower waiting for Emma to come get him at the door."

How did Emma Roberts break up with Chord Overstreet? If Us Weekly’s sources are to be believed, she was colder than a Slushie to the face.

Just like an episode of Glee, the trout-pouted actor was repeatedly iced out by his leading lady prior to their split, reports Us Weekly.

"Emma told Chord he didn't need to spend New Year's with her,” a source told the mag, while another claimed she belittled the actor by making fun of name and acting like she thought he was "really dumb."

Another insider told the mag that Roberts refused to let Overstreet into a Golden Globes after party, saying, "Chord was waiting outside the CAA party at Sunset Tower waiting for Emma to come get him at the door."

When he realized she wasn’t coming out to get him, he was reportedly overheard saying, "Emma does this all the time when she doesn't want to see me."

Unfortunately, the Glee star never made inside where Roberts was spotted "crying and noticeably upset," an eyewitness tells Us Weekly. "Clearly they had a fight about her not coming out to get him."

Though the couple hasn’t officially confirmed the split, those around them claim their relationship has been troubled for a while, though no one can agree on who the main culprit was. One insider told Us Weekly that Overstreet was "so nice and was such a good boyfriend. . .he was always so sweet," while another claimed, "Chord was controlling and always wanted to know where she was at all times. Emma's career is very important to her, but Chord wanted it to be all about him. She's too young to be able to give someone that kind of commitment."
