Kim Kardashian is still making headlines about her 72-day marriage. The reality starlet and E! Queen continues to insist her marriage was real, but now admits it may have been a “bad business decision.”
The busty brunette hit up LIVE! With Kelly yesterday and said, "Being a hopeless romantic, I wanted to believe in something so badly. If you really think about it, if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding and if the wedding was fake and just for TV -- I’m a smart business woman -- I would have stayed married longer. I really didn't think following my heart would create this much backlash."
Kardashian wrote something very similar on her blog immediately following the split announcement last year. "First and foremost, I married for love. I can't believe I even have to defend this," she wrote at the time. "I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!"
Speaking of business, Kim told Ripa that, despite reports she was paid $10 million for her televised wedding, the divorce really wasn't good for the Kardashian empire. "This was a bad business decision. If you really think about it, it doesn't make sense."
"I really did some soul-searching, and I needed that," she told host Kelly Ripa. "I needed to just be with the family."
"It's been a hard couple of months," the reality starlet added.
