Jennifer Lopez might have trouble getting people to watch a few seconds of her new music video, never mind "11+ hours of previously unseen home video footage," but the pop star is suing her (one of many) ex-husband for $10,000,000 over his plans to release a movie about their relationship.
Ojani Noa -- who was married to Lopez for a few months between 1997-98 -- is reportedly set to release How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story. In addition to the flick (which you probably wouldn't have heard of if JLo hadn't sued him), Lopez claims that Noa plans to sell "11+ hours" of the former couple's home movies, which show the pop star "in a revealing lack of clothing, and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel room from [her and Noa's] honeymoon."
Lopez claims that the movie violates a confidentiality agreement she and Noa made in 2005. According to TMZ, she's suing Noa for $10,000,000 and demands that he cease any further plans for the flick.
Late last month, E! Online reported that Lopez sent Noa a cease and desist letter, demanding that he quit developing the supposedly tell-all movie.
At the time, the executive producer on Noa's movie, Claudia Vasquez, told E! that while the film's story follows Noa's relationship with Lopez -- and alleges that Lopez was a serial cheater -- the project is supposed to be a parody, not a serious tell-all. Which, apparently, makes the allegations totes awesome.
"It's a parody, so usually law doesn't apply to the story unless it's something serious," Vasquez told E!. "It's showing that he [Noa] can get over it. It's comic. This is not about Jennifer Lopez's life, this is about Ojani's life."
