It appears that Rihanna has been doing more with her time lately than wearing uncomfortable outfits. The New York Daily News reports that the “Russian Roulette” singer has dipped back into the dating pool with 90210 star Tristan Wilds. Be careful, RiRi: he recently dated an older woman who faked a pregnancy and then lied about having a miscarriage. And then he got mad at his mom about it. (Disclaimer: Those events may have taken place on a TV drama, not in real life.)

To the surprise of those in attendance, 20-year-old Wilds showed up to a party at Rihanna’s Los Angeles home over the weekend -- but it quickly became clear that Rihanna definitely wanted him there.

"No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party -- it was very intimate," one guest told the Daily News. "But everyone quickly realized they weren't meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see."

According to the paper’s source, Rihanna met the young Wire alum through a music producer who was working with both of them. (Yes, Wilds is trying the actor/musician route.) Sparks flew and the two quietly began dating.

"He's a real gentleman," said the insider. "She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up."

Rihanna’s currently on a promotional tour for her new album, Rated R, but the new couple reportedly plans to keep in touch on iChat and Skype until filming on the current season of 90210 ends, at which point Wilds will fly out to meet her on the road.
