Underneath Taylor Lautner's wet t-shirt and 30 pounds of muscle lies a dreamer's heart, wounded by the taunting and jeers of high-school bullies. Oh, if only millions of Twi-hards could comfort him...
As the 17-year-old actor reveals in his upcoming Rolling Stone cover story, he wasn't always a teen mega-star. He also drops hints about whether a certain pop star is his special lady and talks having his surf-sprayed six-pack displayed on newsstands nationwide.
Once, not so long ago, he was just a kid with a dream -- who was mercilessly bullied.
"I was never extremely confident," Lautner told RS. "Because I was an actor, when I was in school there was a little bullying going on. Not physical bullying but people making fun of what I do."
We can imagine the taunts of "Sharkboy!" echoing in the hallways, now. Feel free to let us help you hug it out...
But the threat of the occasional swirlie didn't keep Lautner from chasing that rainbow.
"I just had to tell myself I can't let this get to me. This is what I love to do. And I'm going to continue to do it."
