Do you know what day it is today, Twi-hards? It's Oct. 20, which means it's exactly one month until New Moon hits theatres and the world becomes a happier, shinier, more sparkly place (mostly because we'll be able to stop writing about this GD movie).

To celebrate, the movie studio released a new clip from the film this morning as a free download exclusively on iTunes – until, of course, rabid fans got their grubby little hands on it and spread it all across the Interwebs. Thanks for that, kids!

In the new clip, Bella (Kristen Stewart) confronts Jacob's wolf pack (unaware of the 'wolf' part), and argues with Paul (Alex Meraz) as Sam (Chaske Spencer) tries to keep the peace. Paul soon erupts into his wolfy alter ego, causing Jacob (Taylor Lautner) to intervene and expose his hairy secret identity as well.

The clip doesn't do much to dispel our fears about Stewart's acting ability (though we should give her props for managing to get through a whole scene without biting her lip and/or playing with her hair), but we must admit that the wolf transformations look pretty wicked. Will New Moon make us forget that Twilight's special effects looked like they were created in MS Paint? Are you as mesmerized by Lautner's chest as we are?
