Harry Potter is going out with a bang. Those fans who complained that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 spent too much time setting up the finale should have nothing but love for Part 2. The latest trailer for the final film ramps up the action and promises a blockbuster ending for the long-running series.

The trailer offers glimpses of the film's relentless battles and includes shots of Hogwarts burning in flames, our favourite trio facing down armies of baddies and -- holy crap, is that a dragon?!

It all leads up to the epic final showdown between Harry and Voldemort. "Let's finish this the way we started -- together!" says Harry before reaching up and pulling Voldemort with him over the edge of a roof.

For those who haven't read the book, the trailer also offers spoilery hints that not all of Harry's allies will make it out alive. "Harry Potter, you have fought valiantly. But you've allowed your friends to die for you rather than face me yourself," intones Voldemort. (We're tearing up a little already.)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Ralph Fiennes and Alan Rickman, opens July 15 in the U.S. It will have its U.K. premiere a week earlier in Trafalgar Square.
