Toy Story (1995) - After initially butting heads, two very different toys (Hanks and Allen) must work together after they are separated from the child who owns them. Not only was Pixar's Toy Story the first fully computer-generated feature film, it remains one of the best. Buzz Lightyear and Woody instantly became icons, and kids everywhere suddenly had a video babysitter. Made on a relatively shoe-string budget and using the as-yet-unproven medium of CG animation, Pixar took a chance that paid off — literally. The film made more than $350 million US — and created a huge demand for more computer-generated features.
