Bigger Bong Needed: More Cast Members added to Harold & Kumar Sequel

February 1, 2007

Now that the munchie-inducing euphoria that washed over everyone after the announcement of a sequel to 2004’s Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle is over, get ready for another hit — they’ve added 11 cast members.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, a host of eclectic co-stars and stunt cameos have been added, including David Krumholtz (Numb3rs), hilarious Neil Patrick Harris returning as himself, Rob Corddry (The Daily Show), Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: SVU), Ed Helms (The Office), as well as Eddie Kaye Thomas, Paula Garces, Jack Conley, Roger Bart, Danneel Harris and Eric Winter. Stars John Cho and Kal Penn will also return for the THC-dripping follow-up.

The sequel is said to follow the ganja-prone pair on a hilarious journey from Amsterdam to Guantanamo Bay through the Deep South and back again.

On a hopeful note — if you enjoyed the first film (we did) — original writers Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg will direct the follow-up from their original script.
