With the writers strike happily behind everyone, Hollywood is ready to open up a giant can of celebrity sauce and slather it all over itself, starting with releasing a massive list of Oscar presenters.
Winners from last year, including Helen Mirren, Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Hudson and Alan Arkin, are just a few of the stars presenting at the February 24 Academy Awards, reports People.
Academy president Sid Ganis and telecast producer Gil Cates confirmed to People that Jessica Alba, Patrick Dempsey, George Clooney, Miley Cyrus, Katherine Heigl and Nicole Kidman would also be handing out awards at the event.
The giant award presenter orgy continues with Cate Blanchett, Josh Brolin, Steve Carell, Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Colin Farrell, Harrison Ford, Jennifer Garner, Tom Hanks, Anne Hathaway, Jonah Hill, Dwayne Johnson, James McAvoy, Queen Latifah, Seth Rogen, Martin Scorsese, Hilary Swank, John Travolta, Denzel Washington and Renée Zellwegger.
Also revealed were the musical performances which include Amy Adams singing "Happy Working Song" from Enchanted, Kristin Chenoweth and Marlon Saunders performing "That's How You Know," and "So Close," by Jon McLaughlin, both also from Enchanted.
Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova will sing, "Falling Slowly" from Once, while Jamia Simone Nash and the IMPACT Repertory Theatre of Harlem, headed by Jamal Joseph, will perform "Raise It Up," from August Rush.
