Seinfeld Flies into Toronto for 'Bee Movie'

September 24, 2007

Fear not, Torontonians -- Paris Hilton will not be the last star to make a splash in the city.

Funnyman Jerry Seinfeld will have T-Dot buzzing on Wednesday (Sept. 26) when he's in town to promote his new animated feature film, Bee Movie. Seinfeld -- who directs and stars in the new movie from DreamWorks Animation -- is set to make a red carpet appearance at the Varsity Theatre in the Manulife Centre (55 Bloor St. W.) at 9:45 a.m. EST.

There's no word on whether Seinfeld plans to bring his life-size bee costume, which he wore earlier this year while promoting the film at Cannes. The comedian, who created and penned the animated feature, stars as Barry B. Benson, a recent college grad who befriends a human florist, played by Renee Zellweger. The film also stars Matthew Broderick, Megan Mullally, Chris Rock and Kathy Bates.
