Riding the publicity train like an AMA backup dancer, Adam Lambert has spared no time releasing the new video for single "For Your Entertainment."

The clip, directed by Ray Kay (Lady Gaga's "Poker Face," Jordin Sparks' "One Step at a Time"), debuted on Lambert's official website, and as he told MTV, the video is meant to embody "the same energy" as his recent AMA performance.

"The styling is similar. The choreography is similar. It's not quite as graphic. That just kind of happened. It was very impromptu."

In the video, Lambert, along with some liquored up (is that absinthe on the tables?) gothy dancers and a few snakes, writhe around in an underground bar. The choreography (not to mention the slithery live props) seems like a bit of an homage to Britney's "Slave 4 U" -- except with more clothes, and less sweat.
