Updated: Leaks are the New Albums? Radiohead Song Appears Online

August 20, 2009

For a band that's supposedly through with the "hoo-ha" of releasing albums, Radiohead doesn't seem to have any trouble shooting out new songs to the public. Or at least songs that the public will take for being new until the band comments otherwise.

Late yesterday, a previously unheard -- and possibly fresh -- Radiohead song called "These Are My Twisted Words" appeared on unofficial fan site At Ease, Consequence of Sound reported.

August 18, the band confirmed that the song is indeed new, writing via their blog: "We've been recording for a while, and this was one of the first we finished. We're pretty proud of it. There's other stuff in various states of completion, but this is one we've been practising, and which we'll probably play at this summer's concerts. Hope you like it."

According to Gigwise.com, the band has recently been in studio with longtime producer Nigel Godrich -- a fact which fuelled speculation that "These Are My Twisted Words" was newly recorded.
