Squeal fight! New Moon stars Taylor "no shirt" Lautner and Rachelle Lefevre have sent their RSVPs to the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards. An event, must we remind you, that will be hosted by 'tween dreams The Jonas Brothers -- thus guaranteeing that come Sunday, June 21 the sheer force of girlish screaming emanating from the corner of Queen and John will either reach a decibel level indetectable by human ears, or the universe will collapse into itself, hopefully resulting in an alternate (and some may say better) dimension where Nick Jonas is just an average goofy-looking high schooler and vampires never sparkle.
Also confirmed to witness this (possibly history-altering) spectacle are the finest names in music, TV and celebutardation there are to offer.
Topping our list of who to snag on the red carpet are Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr. Pop-star Mika will also be there (possibly more ostentatiously dressed than Chuck Bass) as will 90210's Anna Lynne McCord.
You can expect some Hills kids: Brody Jenner and Audrina Patridge (who'll be bringing her Sorority Row castmate Rumer Willis with her). Kim Kardashian helps round out the reality TV contingent along with Nico Archambault and Natalli Reznik of So You Think You Can Dance Canada.
From the sporting world, Toronto Raptor Chris Bosh is expected to make an appearance, as is the Washington Capitals' Alexander Ovechkin.
Of course, this being an awards show, there'll be these people called "nominees" also expected to pull red carpet duty. Prepare your glitter-glued fan collages for nominees Danny Fernandes, Marianas Trench, The Midway State, Theory of a Deadman, Karl Wolf and Lights (even if you are watching the show from your parents' basement). And Perez Hilton is supposed to be there, too. Hey, someone has to suck up to Lady Gaga before she takes the stage.
The red carpet action airs Sunday, June 21 at 8 p.m. ET followed by the awards at 9 p.m.
