I'd see Beyonce for $20. Hell, I'd pay $20 to watch a kitten named "Beyonce" run on a treadmill (in fact, I'd probably pay more than $20 for that if it weren't so readily available on YouTube).
Though her North American tour doesn't launch until June 21, Beyonce's already baiting fans -- casual and hardcore, alike -- by announcing she'll be offering "special-value" seats to all but one of her shows for the low, low price of $20.
According to a release posted on B's official website late yesterday, 1,000 $20 tickets for all of Beyonce's North American dates will be put on sale through Ticketmaster Friday, May 29.
The only exception to the rule: the so-called "pop-culture superstar's" (redundant, much?) four-night engagement in Las Vegas. Tickets to those dates have been going at $250, $500, $750 and $1,000 a pop (and that's not including the packages that come with a two-night stay at the hotel), reports TMZ. There'd be riots on the Strip if anyone found out the riff-raff was getting in for a bucket full of nickels.
Beyonce's currently shaking her rear across Europe for her "I AM..." world tour and reaches North America June 21 with a concert in New York City. Her only scheduled Canadian stop is Toronto, July 20 at the Molson Amphitheatre.
