The odds of a Romijn-Stamos reunion have just gotten a lot slimmer: Rebecca Romijn wedded Jerry O'Connell on Saturday (July 14), reports People.
The X-Men star met the former Stand by Me star in Las Vegas in 2004 when Romijn was doing research for Wet Dreams, a documentary she was producing about the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino.
"We met Jerry at a party," Romijn tells People. "We told him what we were doing and he was, like, 'You're making a documentary out of this? I want to be the boom operator!' He was totally game."
Romijn is currently starring on Ugly Betty as a post-op transsexual, while O'Connell will appear on Carpoolers, premiering this fall. I don't care how good Carpoolers is; anything is a step down from when he was on My Secret Identity.
Do you think that back when O'Connell was the annoying fat kid in Stand by Me that he ever thought he'd land a babe as hot at Romijn? Marriage was probably the last thing on his mind, though; he was likely busy wishing he were as cool as River Phoenix. Sorry, O'Connell, you may have married one of the hottest women in the world, but you'll still never be as cool as Phoenix.
