Ke$ha, Adam Lambert, Marianas Trench and Down with Webster Playing the MMVAs; So...Much...Glitter...

Expect to leave the 2010 MMVAs with glitter in your panties and a raging hangover. A handful of new performers were announced this morning, and topping the guest list are sparkletwins Ke$ha and Adam Lambert.

"The MMVAs will be amazeballz," Ke$ha promised (threatened?) in a statement to Much. "All you hot Canadians will be covered in glitter."

Also joining the pop stars are Canadian rockers Marianas Trench and Down With Webster. The four newly announced acts will join previously named performers Katy Perry and Justin Bieber on the MMVA stage Sunday, June 20. The station promises more news about their ever-expanding guest list in the coming days.

As for those hoping to get close enough to the action that Lambert's spike-encrusted costumes threaten to scratch their corneas, MuchMusic will begin giving away wristbands to the event Saturday, June 12 at 8 a.m. sharp. You'll need to be 14+ (bring your photo ID!) to score a wristband, and fans lining up are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item for the Daily Bread Food Bank. (Karma, kids, karma...)
