Vampires vs. Guidos: Stars of Twilight and Jersey Shore Among the 2010 MMVA Presenters

A MuchMusic Video Awards red carpet without Twilight actors would be like a day without dawn, Christmas without presents ... vampires without sparkles.

So, it is with great delight -- but no surprise whatsoever -- that we can report Twilight Saga: Eclipse co-stars Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Xavier Samuel have sent their RSVPs to the annual awards show/screaming contest. The trio will present awards at the 2010 MMVAs -- and if we're extra-special lucky, maybe Kellan Lutz will also present the viewing public with a glimpse of his infinity-pack.

But wait, there's more (reasons for you to start pre-emptively shrieking). Jersey Shore castmates Snooki and Pauly D will also be handing out hardware at the June 20 show (so good of them to take time out of their busy schedule hosting club nights in Mississauga), as will Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev, Hills types Kristin Cavallari and Whitney Port (oops -- she has her own show now, The City). Tween idols Miranda Cosgrove and Emily Osment will be there (maybe they can catch up with co-host Miley Cyrus post-show), as will some of the cast of Much show The Secret Life of the American Teenager (Shailene Woodley, Daren Kagasoff, Megan Park). And Perez Hilton and Girlicious will also be there, seeing as they're more or less the party's unofficial mascots at this point.

And, since most of the trophies doled out at the MMVAs have some tangential connection to music, there'll also be several pop stars giving away awards, too: Bedouin Soundclash, Nikki Yanofsky, Lights, Three Days Grace, Faber Drive, Cobra Starship, Karl Wolf and JLS.

There'll even be music on the red carpet -- that isn't just blaring out of the car stereos of the zazzed-out vehicles that will be dropping off this year's nominees. MMVA nominees Stereos will be giving an acoustic performance straight from the red carpet. Will anyone hear singer Pat Kordyback over the squeals of a few hundred Twihards? Probably not, but we'll be there anyway.
