Vin Diesel is the proud new father of a baby girl, his rep tells People magazine. The news came as a complete shock here at the Dose.ca offices because: a) half of us assumed Vin Diesel was dead, and b) the other half had put him in the ‘non-heterosexual’ category of action stars. (Seriously, we could have sworn he was standing behind us in line last weekend at the Sex and the City movie, wearing a pink boa and punctuating his speech on Samantha’s “fabuolousocity” with finger snaps and neck swivels.)
In any case, Mazel Tov! We hope he learned something about raising kids and not just how to clean up duck poop on the set of that bomb gem of a movie, The Pacifier.
Diesel, 40 and girlfriend, model Paloma Jimenez welcomed their first child into the world on April 2. He’s had a girlfriend and a child and no one reported it? How off-the-radar is this guy?
Currently Diesel is reprising his role as street racer Dominic Toretto filming next summer’s Fast and Furious (the threequel?). He can also be seen this summer in the sci-fi flick Babylon A.D., in theatres in late August.
