The Tampa Bay Lightning have never been afraid to put their faith in homegrown talent. And this morning, in the second round of the draft, the Lightning spoke at No. 37.

And Ethan Gauthier was drafted with the pick that originally belonged to the Canadiens.

Ethan Gauthier selected 37th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning.

This pick originally belonged to the CH, then to the Avalanche.
