Top-5: 10 players received ten minutes of misconduct at the same time in Ottawa

Here are the results and highlights from last nightā€™s six-game NHL schedule.

1. Crazy game in Ottawa

I donā€™t know if you missed the Panthers-Senators game last night, but if you did, you missed a WHOLE show.

Thatā€™s not even an exaggeration. Ottawa lost 4-0, but the intensity was there.

There was no shortage of checking and fighting, and 135 penalty minutes.

In the third period, the officials had had enough of dangerous play.

After a breakaway by Brady Tkachuk, a skirmish ensued.

The result: EVERY player on the ice received a game misconduct, so the Panthers had only six players on its bench at one point in the game.

Iā€™ve never seen anything like it.

The referees and linesmen really earned their pay in this game.

Another one who wasnā€™t impressed: Joonas Korpisalo. He let his defenders knowā€¦

But for hockey highlights, Aleksander Barkov finished the game with three assists.

In doing so, he surpassed Jonathan Huberdeau for the most power-play points in franchise history. He also collected his 400th career assist.

Tough night for the Sensā€¦ In any case, D.J. Smith must really feel his job is on the line.

2. One of the saves of the year belongs to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen

The Sabres visited the Rangers, the best team in the NHL, last night. After a disappointing performance against the Devils a few days ago, Buffalo wanted to bounce back.

And thatā€™s exactly what the club did.

They won by a score of 5-1. Ukko-goalie Pekka Luukkonen made 25 saves on 26 shots, including this one:

3. Third consecutive Bruins defeat

4. MacKenzie Weegar scores with four seconds left

The Flames were hosting the Golden Knights and at the start of the day, Calgary had said that Jacob Markstrom was going to be in front of the net.

However, due to a virus, he was forced to sit out, leaving Dan Vladar with the task of stopping the Vegas attack. And thatā€™s exactly what he did, helping his team defeat the Knights 2-1.

Obviously, Markstrom wasnā€™t on the bench.

Dustin Nickel was the second goaltender. His last competitive game (ACAC) was in 2011-2012ā€¦

Both teams appeared to be headed for the shootout when MacKenzie Weegar sealed the gameā€™s outcome.

With four seconds left, the defenseman carried the puck from one end to the other and foiled Adin Hill.

5. Two consecutive Sharks wins

The San Jose Sharks donā€™t win often. This year, they have just five wins.

But after a win against the Canucks the other night, San Jose won again, this time against the Capitals. Second consecutive win for Greg Croninā€™s team.

In the win, Mackenzie Blackwood was smoldering, stopping 33 of 34 shots directed at him. Luke Kunin and Fabian Zetterlund were the two scorers for the home side.

Caps fans didnā€™t get much to chew on, except this Tom Wilson check.
