John Connor can take a bit of a breather, because the T-1000 is taking a detour to the Buy More.

NBC’s action/comedy series Chuck will be visited by none other than Robert Patrick, everyone’s favourite liquid killer robot, Entertainment Weekly reports. But don’t expect the steel-eyed actor to don a Geek Squad polo shirt and start fixing some computers. Patrick will play Col. Keller, a mysterious figure from Special Agent Casey’s past. Oops – make that Col. Casey, as Adam Baldwin’s character was promoted in the Season 2 finale.

Patrick is set to appear about midway through Chuck’s third season, but unfortunately, there’s still no word from NBC as to when Season 3 will premiere. The cancellations of both Trauma and Southland indicate the show could return in January, but so far, the peacock network is remaining mum.
