In what has to be the weirdest TV pairing in recent memory, Deadline is reporting that the star of Louis C.K.'s upcoming CBS sitcom pilot will be none other than former High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale.
Centering around a group of creative young adults trying to make it in the current weak economy, the currently untitled sitcom was adapted from a script C.K. and former Seinfeld writer/Soup Nazi creator Spike Feresten wrote 13 years ago (when its reported star was bat-mitzvah-aged).
According to the website, Tisdale is set to star as "Petra, the beautiful and sarcastic assistant to a vintage clothing designer struggling to carve out her niche in New York."
We're hoping she gets to yell, "No vintage Fürstenberg for you!" to a stunned Whitney Port-a-like.
