Anyone who has seen Whip It! (and if you haven't yet, what are you waiting for? It's totally rad) was charmed by the genuine, hilarious best-friend relationship between the characters played by Ellen Page and Alia Shawkat. Well, there wasn't much acting involved, as Page and Shawkat really are BFFs in real life, and soon we'll get to reap the benefits of that friendship, as the pair have teamed up to create a comedy for HBO.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Page and Shawkat will be writing a script for Stitch N’ Bitch,  about two Brooklyn hipsters who relocate to Los Angeles in order to become artists. Even more awesome, the script will also be written by cuddly sex symbol Har Mar Superstar (real name: Sean Tillmann), who had a small part in Whip It!.

Whether or not Page and Shawkat will star in the series is still to be decided, but oh, we hope it happens. Of course, Page is busy filming Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio, so the odds of her transitioning back to the small screen are probably pretty small.
