The Latest Gossip: JoAnna Garcia is Privileged to be on How I Met Your Mother

JoAnna Garcia has spent the last two years making rich boys fall in love with her on Privileged and Gossip Girl, but come December, she'll be attracting a more middle-class man, playing one of Ted's many potential lady-friends on How I Met Your Mother.

According to TV Guide, the 30-year-old actress is set to appear on the Dec. 7 episode, titled "The Window," in which she'll play Maggie, a friend of Ted's from college. Maggie is one of those incredibly perfect girls that every guy wants to marry and, as a result, is hardly ever single. When Ted finds out that Maggie has broken up with her latest boyfriend, he rushes to see her, hoping that his window of opportunity hasn't already closed.

But if you're a fan of Garcia, don't get your hopes up that she'll turn out to be the mysterious mother – she's only signed up for one episode, and former O.C. star Rachel Bilson is set to come in as another one of Ted's love interests for the show's 100th episode in January.
