Will Arnett and Justin Theroux to Battle for Amy Poehler’s Heart on Parks and Rec?

Will Arnett and Justin Theroux will both appear on Parks and Recreation in 2010 as potential love interests for Amy Poehler's character.

Parks and Recreation is having a phenomenal second season, and it’s about to get a whole lot better. Entertainment Weekly reports that Amy Poehler’s real-life husband, Will Arnett, will appear on his wife’s NBC sitcom in early 2010.

Arnett will possibly play a boy-toy for Leslie Knope (Poehler), but his marriage to Poehler is no guarantee that the gravelly-voiced actor will be successful in sweeping her off her feet on-screen: EW reported yesterday that Justin Theroux has also been cast as a potential love interest for Leslie. Theroux will play a friend of Ann’s (Rashida Jones) who finds Poehler’s character unexpectedly charming.

Theroux will appear on Parks and Rec in early 2010. While no one has confirmed if he’ll appear in the same episode as Arnett, we’re crossing our fingers for a romantic showdown.
