Identity theft victim and former British royal Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson has been offered a slot on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.
The Weight Watchers enthusiast — whose nickname and nationality was co-opted by rap menace and Black Eyed Peas crutch Fergie — recently declared that she’s a huge fan of the dance competition, which prompted producers to extend an invite, reports the World Entertainment News Network.
“Fergie will add a touch of class to the proceedings,” said show producer Conrad Green in a snide statement that clearly overlooks the elegance that Jerry Springer brought to the proceedings last season. “The fans will be waiting to see if she falls for her dance partner. Everyone loves a royal romance and her presence will bring dazzling ratings.”
There is no word yet on whether the former duchess has accepted.
