Yet more proof that Chad Michael Murray is the Mischa Barton of One Tree Hill: producers of the teen soap are reportedly planning to kick The Chad to the curb at the end of this season. But now where will he find his future wives now?

According to E! News, Murray was overheard telling several fans that he would not return to One Tree Hill for its seventh season, citing budgetary restrictions.

"They're not bringing me back next year," said the 27-year-old actor. "Because they want to save money."

As the squinty-eyed lead of the CW drama, Murray's exit certainly raises questions as to how the show could continue, but we're sure the writers have plenty more "crazy nanny comes back from the dead to stalk her former clients" stories up their sleeves.

For his part, Murray seemed less than thrilled with the decision, urging his fans to complain to the network.

"See, this is what all the fans should do online, is start blogging and being pissed off that they don't want that," he said. "That's what they should do."

Now, Chad, you're asking your fans to take valuable time away from their Lucas/Nathan fan fiction. That's a pretty tall order.
