What do you get when you combine gallons of booze, hundreds of inebriated club goers and reality TV? Perfect content for Fox! From the people that brought you such high-brow shows as Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? comes new reality series Nightclub Confessions, a mixed online and TV feature showcasing confessions clubbers made during a night out on the town.
The clever executives at Fox had sound-proof confession booths installed in clubs around the U.S., in which bar patrons, bartenders, DJs and club owners were encouraged to reveal their “deepest secrets and desires.” No word on if “I killed a man in Reno just to watch him die,” or “I lowve you guyths!! No, serithously. You’re, like, sooooooo cool … I justht really lowve you all! Wanna make out?” made the cut.
The series will be available on-demand via webisodes on foxreality.com starting May 30 and wrap in a one-hour TV event on June 30.
"Our audience wants reality whenever and wherever they want it and we are excited to deliver the first original series made for our website,” said Fox Reality COO and general manager David Lyle in a statement. “Nightclub Confessions is a perfect complement to our made for television originals; it pushes the bounds of reality' and gives our viewers something everyone wants — access into the hottest nightclubs. It doesn't get more real than people with their barriers down. You'll see unedited, spur of the moment reactions to what's happening that evening."
