Big Brother Contestant Fired From Real-Life Job

February 29, 2008

He doesn't know it yet, but Big Brother 9 contestant Adam Jasinski has been fired from his job as a public relations manager for the United Autism Foundation, reports the New York Post. Why? The Big Brother cameras – which operate 24/7 – recorded Jasinki calling people with autism "retards" before claiming that he was allowed to call them whatever he wanted because he worked with them.

...He knows we can see him, right?

The United Autism Foundation released a statement on Wednesday, announcing its dismissal of Jasinski.

"Mr. Jasinski will no longer work for or represent the United Autism Foundation since he caused tremendous damage to UNIAF," the announcement read.

Being secluded in the Big Brother house, Jasinski won't find out about being axed until he leaves, but there probably isn't anything he could say to defend himself. It's bad enough to believe something so ignorant, but to express that ignorance when he knows he's being watched and recorded 24 hours a day is so stupid it borders on insane.

Lest you think that this was an isolated incident, the Philadelphia Daily News reports that Jasinski also recently called a gay contestant a "faggot" who should "go back to the gay bar."

Nice. Stay classy, Jasinski.
